IN.FORMATION

  • Sessions typically last 50 minutes and are fully tailored to your individual needs.

Each session is unique, focused on you, and guided by your goals and requirements. Together, we will create a supportive space that meets you where you are and adapts to what you need in the moment. What sessions look like is further guided by my therapeutic approach:the person-centred approach. You can also find out more about what benefits therapy might offer to you in the therapy section.

You can choose between having therapy online, walking therapy, or a combination of both, depending on your preference (more below).

  • I offer therapy to individuals (over 18 years old) and to couples.

There are a few ways that we can work together: either online (using platforms such as Teams / GoogleMeets / WhatsApp / FaceTime) or face-to-face in natural surroundings through walking therapy or through creative means of art therapy.

online therapy offers flexibility allowing you to schedule sessions more easily around your schedule and have sessions in the comfort of your own environment. It’s especially helpful if you’re frequently on the move but value the consistency that therapy provides. Additionally, we can combine online therapy with walking therapy if that feels right for you.

walking or eco-therapy is a unique way of engaging with therapy more holistically. While being immersed in natural environments (in this case, the green spaces of parks and forests in and around Prague) we are combining the therapeutic benefits of presence in nature with mindfulness and reflective techniques. We will of course take weather into consideration as well as your physical abilities and make adjustments accordingly. (*more on walking therapy?? scroll bellow)

art therapy offers a creative way to explore your thoughts and emotions, where using drawing or clay aids expression beyond “just” words. I organise weekend group workshops several times a year, which you’re welcome to join. if you’re interested in these events or would like to explore individual art therapy options, feel free to contact me for more information.

  • I work Monday to Friday, with sessions typically held on a weekly basis. While we can arrange to meet at a consistent time and day, I am flexible and happy to accommodate varying shift patterns or other commitments. Additionally, I offer one-off or extended sessions if that better suits your needs.

more about walking (eco) therapy:

Having grown up in a city, nature was something of an extra, a place to go for the weekend, the “other” place. Something we grew out of, improved, tamed? Not necessarily below us but besides us - on the outside, not within.

Yet it was nature that brought balance and connection to my life. I realised much later the power that nature has had on my mental health and the time I spent engaged with it brought out something in me. I started to see the seasons changing, learnt its interconnectedness, its genius, hands on, feet wet. It taught me that we get exactly what we put in; we accept its conditions, and work within the strength and attention that we have; how creative, focused and responsible for ourselves we can become.

“His intercourse with heaven and earth, becomes part of his daily food. In the presence of nature, a wild delight runs through the man, in spite of real sorrows.”

To me nature is not just beautiful sunsets and park walks with your dog or a cup of coffee (although they are definitely daily miracles). It’s also discomfort and a challenge. Discomfort that we learn to take in and build resilience from. It makes our perspective expand, and in remote(r) places we stop being so stuck in thinking of just us, the ever present single species - humans, we actually take in more, become more mindful, kinder.

It seems only natural that disconnecting from something so intrinsic to us will impact our daily experience; the benefits of time in nature are so clear with cognitive benefits and improvements in mood, emotional well-being and mental health amongst just a few.

Importantly, regardless of how much time one spends outdoors, research showed us that benefits to wellbeing are perceivable even for short periods. And so just like a little exercise is better than none, take advantage of green and blue spaces wherever and whenever you can!
